It is important that everyone have a working installation of Python on their laptop before we start on Friday. Please make sure you're ready to go a few days beforehand. We will host an in-person Installation Help Desk on Sunday, August 19th from 1:30 - 4:30 pm in a place TBD. Bring your laptop!
We will also use an IRC channel (#pyboot) to provide help. You can access it by going to http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=pyboot&uio=d4. We can set up appointments for the IRC channel through email, and we'll also be in the channel during the in-person Help Desk hours. You can use the IRC client below if you'd like (just choose a unique nickname for yourself):
